Post-Doctoral Position at Forschungszentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (Germany)

Applications are invited for a 36 month post-doctoral position at Forschungszentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (Germany) starting from the 1st of April 2008.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Physics and has background in solid-state physics or physical metallurgy with experience in atomic simulation and numerical mathematics.
*Working field:*

Atomic modelling (e.g. molecular dynamics) of irradiation induced defects in reactor materials and their influence on mechanical properties
Computer simulation of the interaction of dislocations with irradiation defects


Model validation using experimental data
