The newly formed Laboratory of Nanoscale Electronics and Structures at the EPFL School of Engineering (STI) has several available PhD student positions.
Highly motivated students will have an opportunity to work on the design, processing and characterization of novel nanoelectronic devices. Requirements include a Master`s degree in electrical engineering, physics, materials science, microtechnics or a related discipline.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is also required. Previous experience in cleanroom processing, electron microscopy or instrumentation programming is a plus.
